NFT-People

Introducing the NFT-People project, the first profile picture generative project on the Tezos blockchain. As one of the co-founders of this project, I am proud to say that our 5000 unique collectible avatars sold out in May 2022. I'm excited to share with you the story of how this project came to be and the impact it had on the NFT community.

It was in June 2021 when we first became acquainted with the Tezos blockchain, and shortly after, thewebsite launched as an independent platform where anyone could freely sell their art.
As newcomers to the world of NFTs, we were eager to enter this attractive space quickly. Although I had not yet learned how to write a smart contract, we decided to proceed by designing a robot that could mint 5000 avatars, which were linked to the hicetnunc.xyz website and could be interacted with directly and commented on one by one.
The project was well received, and almost every single one of the 5000 avatars was sold. After the minting of the 3000th avatar, we asked those who had purchased it for the rarities list. To create the avatars, my co-worker, an artist, drew all the single assets as PNG format, and I wrote only a few lines of code to merge them and save them to another folder. I did not have access to the tools that were used for each avatar, so I had to write a photo recognizer to make the rarities list, which could identify the tools used in each avatar from the photo. With that table, I prepared the rarities lists.

We also shared our experience and knowledge with other creators in the community, helping them to understand the technology and opportunities that NFTs could offer.
Looking back on the journey, I realized that creating NFT-People was not just about minting avatars or making money, but it was also about building a community and being a part of something new and exciting. It was about learning and exploring the possibilities of Blockchain technology and NFTs.
It was about making a difference and having an impact on the art world.
Our project had proven that NFTs were more than just digital collectibles; they were a platform for creative expression and a new form of art. They could represent ideas, emotions, and stories, and they could connect people around the world.
As we move forward, we continue to explore new ways of creating and sharing NFTs, and we hope to inspire others to join us on this journey. We invite you to visit our NFT-People collection page on OBJKT.com and explore our other projects. Thank you for your support, and we look forward to seeing you in the decentralized art space.
